This project created a futuristic glowing, curving showplace with an incredibly short two month design and eight month construction timeline. RBLD’s expertise with decorative selections, such as the “flying saucer” light fixtures, kept these signature pieces in the project budget and delivery schedule. Curved lighting elevated the space far beyond an everyday office environment.

Curving linear fixtures mimic a printed circuit board in the lab ceiling. Glowing fiberoptic “Saturn Rings” float around conference pods with unique space-themed decorative pendants in each space.

Lighting was carefully integrated into all kinds of signature architectural design elements; the airplane propeller mobile, the angular reception desk, and the curved doorways are highlighted with flexible LED lights. Even the straight linear lighting was coordinated with nearby special architectural elements, such as the conference room lighting that blends seamlessly into the baffled ceiling.
